Our Story
Above & Beyond Nonprofit Consulting began with a simple but bold conviction: small nonprofits deserve access to the same level of strategic clarity, leadership development, and operational strength as larger organizations.
Anne McCoy, our founder, brings over 15 years of hands-on nonprofit experience and more than 20 years of leadership expertise. Along the way, she witnessed familiar challenges—dedicated leaders juggling too many responsibilities, boards searching for clarity, and teams struggling to stay focused on their mission amid constant demands. Above & Beyond was created to meet those very needs, offering practical tools, thoughtful coaching, and steady support.
From the beginning, our work has focused on helping nonprofit leaders reconnect with their purpose and strengthen their organizations from the inside out. We help teams realign around mission, re-engage their boards, improve financial clarity, and build strategies that are both visionary and actionable.
